I’ve Life, in my bag!!

The scarcity of clean drinking water is quite evident, as the number of people reported dying around the globe due to the scant clean drinking water is increasing every year. One of the worst effected regions is sub-Saharan Africa, where clean water can be several days walk away. The need of producing an affordable and simple method of purifying water which doesn’t rely on first or second-world amenities, just as steady electricity supply, has always been a challenge. But a dexterous prototype device named ‘Solar Bag’, created by two young researchers in North Wales Ryan and Marcus tried to offer hope doing just this.

The ‘Solar Bag’ uses the (solar water disinfection) method of water purification, which like PET (polyethylene terephthalate) bottles, which were filled in with unclear and dirty water and left in the open sunlight. Following exposure to direct UV-A radiation of the Sun, A major amount of germs and bacteria contained within the water are eventually eliminated, rendering the water safe to drink.
However, PET bottles were not adequately plausible when it comes to quantity. It can purify and had a maximum of three liters of capacity per every six hours of sunlight; the Solar Bag's on the other hand is believed to have a commendable combination of high clarity polyethylene and black polyethylene plus a remarkable capacity to purify 2.5 gallons (9.4 liters) in the same time-span. According to both researchers, the bag would also help in transporting more amount of water and the purification process will start when being transported

.

These two differences might not seem really big but these two factors can save lives, the Solar Bag project is an exciting project, which shows great prospects even in this early stage of development. “Keeping the mind the cause we are working the bags would cost somewhere around 3 to 5US$” Marcus.

Beware: Bottled water can turn you obese!!

It’s been more than decades and still people are debating over the topic that, amount of water one should drink to keep themselves hydrated. Water is a pristine resource that aids body growth, helps to flush out toxins and waste, aids digestion and makes chemical reactions happen in the body. But it is very important that to avail these benefits one must drink pure water purified from Best Water Purifier Systems. Due to this more and more families are driven to drink Bottled water.

Water has always been distinguished as the only drink that works as a panacea to reduce weight but a shocking new study has revealed that too much bottles water can be your cause of obesity!!

This study is a direct blow to the well known fact that was previously held, that each individual needs some amount of bottled water daily. The group of researchers has proved that too much bottled water can make you fat.

One of the experts explains, the person who usually consumes bottled water is likely to suffer from Vanity Paralytics Syndrome, which affects the intestines by tightening them to an unnatural degree. This also makes the sufferer believe he or she is too illustrious to dispose of their body's waste in the normal manner, so they become addicted to colonic irrigation. The reprocessed bottled water contains traces of Polymeric Pertasimate-a chemical used in the (water) reprocessing method, and believed to be harmful to the human body if consumed in large doses. This chemical stays settles in persons system a lot longer than a person with normal self-induced bowel movements.
Polymeric Pertasimate, is heated due to the chemical reaction constantly occurring in the intestines and henceforth attacks the thyroid gland causing it not to function properly, and thus the person slowly becomes obese.

So, beware if you are caught in a frenzy of drinking bottled water, moreover this also adds to the menace of plastic waste too. A Water purifier machine is the right choice if you really are a caring person.

Monsoon is to enjoy, not for falling Sick!

Monsoon showers us with joy and sends a stride of ecstasy as it brings relief from simmering heat. But one must not forget monsoon also brings illnesses and diseases, some of which can be life threatening.
Children are the most susceptible to these diseases, but there are ways we can prevent ourselves from the disease monsoon brings with itself and enjoy health and rain together.

The Mosquito attack
If there is something that is most synonymous with Monsoons after rains are ‘MOSQUITOS’; that’s the reason why cases of Malaria and Dengue goes upswing. Though markets are flooded with malaria and other diseases prevention drugsbut these drugs are not always effective. Therefore you must always try to keep your place free from any possibilities of letting it be a mosquito’s breeding ground.

A mosquito netaround the bed not only prevents mosquitoes but saves you from the harmful smoke produced from mosquito coil that you inhale while sleeping. These simple nets can protect us from harmful diseases such as dengue and malaria. Carry amosquito repellent creamwith you and give a small tube to your children. The cream should be applied to any exposed areas if there are mosquitoes around.

Importance of Drinking clean Water
We cannot ignore the fact that our drain pipes and sewage pipes lies close to each other, and in the monsoon these pipes are likely to develop leaks - and the result, the sewage water comes into contact with regular water. It’s a sickening fact but it’s true.

Threatening diseases like cholera are spread through faeces that find its nurturing ground in impure water. That’s why it is essential to drink clean water in the monsoon. If possible one should buy Best water purifier to assure clean drinking water free from any microbes and bacteria.

Water purifiers are the simplest and safest way to keep your family free from any water borne diseases.Keep in mind if you are visiting any restaurant make a point to drink bottled water or a soft drink instead of regular water. Most restaurants do not maintain the levels of hygiene you do at home.

Dressing-Up Children
Walking inwater filled roads is fun and every child loves it. But this dirty still water can also lead to various diseases since it brings your feet into direct contact with sewage water. In this case it is likely that parasites enter your body from the pores of your foot. Thus it is essential that your children dress appropriately in the monsoon to avoid catching not just diseases, but also the common cold.
Try to keep you feet dry and clean and wash your feet every time if come in contact with still water on roads and ditches.

Other Quick Tips
  • Wash your hands before having anything, after using the toilet and make it a habit not to touch your face with your hands.
  • Some children are addicted to biting their nails. Prevent any such habit as this will cause them to ingest any infection that may be on their hands.
  • Cook food well and avoid uncooked food like salads outside the home during the monsoon.
  • Storing water in copper or silver vessels is not just a fashion statement! Doing so kills all germs and sterilizes the water.
  • Opt for some Water purifier systems as it would ensure you do not take any impure or adulterated water and keep you away from water borne disease.

What Is the Future of Drinkable Water Resources In India

This year so far has not put India on maps for good reasons but for impromptus debacles. All such incidents were gruesomely demeaning for common Indian as they threatened the very basic of Rights.
One such issue that has been noticed but not pondered upon is drinking water availability. The reported catastrophic crunch has exceeded the records, the reports on paper in year 2012 says that almost 30% of population in each state is relying upon water tankers.

There are several factors that have reportedly been underlined whenever water crisis is discussed, Poor Water Resource Planning, Improper Water Resource Management, Falling Annual precipitation of Rainfall and Limitations of Water Treatment Capacity etc. The factor could be any but it symbolizes a big failure of the structural hierarchy.

Unavailability of clean drinking water is forcing people to consume unhygienic supply water.  A recent report from ‘KOCHI’ North Paravoor and Vypeen areas again raised questions on the claims of local water board authority.
People reported the water smells of some chemical and due to no other resource they are forced to filter and boil the same water to consume.
In another recent report from ‘LUDHIANA’, the industrial hub of Punjab is submerged in water supply problems. Not only is the supply inadequate, but also unfit for consumption.

Many such reports have been pouring all around the year and in past But what is the solution??

As far as availability is concerned it’s still elusive but clean drinking water is no more a problem.
A group dedicated to the cause of making safe and healthy drinking water available to the citizens of this country has successfully engineered Essel Nasaka, RO Water Purifier that matches International Standards. Monsoon Special:Most Common Water Borne Diseases and Prevention

No doubt, Monsoon with its first rain brings a splash of water (long awaited), a bucket full of emotions and lots of cheers all around with smiting smiles on faces. But first rain is also an alarm for some water borne diseases.

A major proportion of all illnesses in developing countries are caused due to water borne infections. Monsoon brings with itself various illnesses like diarrhea, gastroenteritis and even polio. Below given are some of the description and prevention of water borne diseases that can protect you from spoiling your monsoon.

Most common water borne illnesses
Cholera – This acute infection is caused by vibrio cholera bacteria where hygiene and sanitation gets compromised. This can be prevented by keeping special care of sanitation and germ free floors and toilets. Stay away from damp crowded places.

Typhoid –Typhoid also known as enteric fever. It claims thousands of lives every year. Persistent watery stools also called rice water stools, with fever are symptoms of this illness. This infectious fever can be prevented by washing hands at small intervals, by avoiding drinking untreated water avoid poorly cooked food and fruits that are raw.

Polio –polio or poliomyelitis is an infection that occurs in the rainy season. It enters the body from mouth. Therefore the source of this infection is contaminated, unhygienic water or food, and flies. Polio at first step attacks the digestive tract and spreads to the central nervous system and could lead to paralysis of various degrees, aseptic meningitis and in fact death. The prevention starts with Polio vaccination. If given at proper age this vaccine builds great immunity within one’s body that prevents this infection to resurface.

Dracunculiasis – also known as guinea worm disease and is very common in India, Africa and the Middle East. Drinking contaminated water with infected Cyclops is the biggest source of this disease. Cyclops is a crustacean found in fresh water. It can be prevented by avoiding water that is untreated or at least boiled. Purifiers must be kept clean.

Amoebiasis – Amoebiasis is usually transmitted by the fecal-oral route. Unwashed hands or objects as well,if comes in oral contact can lead to this sort of infection. Infection is spread through ingestion of the cyst form of the parasite. It can be prevented by cleaning your water source regularly, washing hands at small intervals, keeping bathroom and other wet areas dry and clean.

Drinking water is the biggest and most common source of most of these diseases. So, keep avoid drinking unhygienic water this monsoon and enjoy to the fullest.

We do not doubt thefact that our existence is because of water, the most pristine resource on this planet Earth. But do you know how much water does your body need and what if you are drinking water more than you are prescribed??

The ‘recommended’ daily consumption of water is somewhere around 60-80 ounces. It’s about 8 glasses every day, which sounds kind of hard to do.By drinking adequate water you can lose weight, solve several other problemsand achieve approximately everything to look good! But the bigger question is how you can increase your water intake??

Well here are some easy, compelling tips..!
Carrying water is a great idea when you leave your place. Before long, you’ll find yourself reaching for it without a second.

Keep a glass of water next to you whenever you are planning to sit for long time, such as when you’re in your study amidst your books or at your work station. Help yourself by keeping a digital watch or wearing one that beeps at the beginning of descent time interval, use the reminder to help you pour a glass. Self discipline plays key role here too, vow to drink water before the next beep or as the beep signals it. These habits can improve your drinking habits and water intake.

A person who doesn’t like the taste of the bottled water or feels that tap water leaves bad taste in mouth; should get water purification system. Purified water tastes good and may help drinking water appealing for those people.
